The Malö 585 Deck Saloon has stunning looks and sleek lines with a deck layout to cater for most requirements, a hull by Farr Yacht Design and the renowned build quality of Malö Yachts will make this boat stand out.
The 585 with its high volume hull will be attractive for the longterm cruising couple who need the extra volume required when living aboard but still want a boat that is easily handled by two. In keeping with the other deck saloons, performance will be a priority. A carbon fibre rig and boom for the fully battened mainsail will be standard. There will be no overlapping headsails, runners, checkstays or a babystay and the deck will be kept as clear as possible of all ropes with the jib sheets being run under the deck the winches aft. She will have twin cockpits with the forward one being protected by a sprayhood, which will fold into a recess in the coachroof. A bimini is also available.
